When I create I am always in that beginner mindset. The Amateur!
Why?
Because embracing the unknown keeps me open, curious and engaged.
The freedom in not needing to know is the invitation to the conversation between my creative spirit and the painting. Being in amateur mode and free from the confines of an end result and how something should be, inspires me to investigate, explore and make those big (scary!) moves which is the driving force of growth and expansion. Amateur mode allows me to follow my truth and be more authentically me.
Your artwork is most interesting. I've been knocking around this planet as a visual artist for many decades. If you'd like to chat about your work, my work, anyone's work, I'll be more than happy to do so. I've been very fortunate to know and have known many true artists. I'd be happy to share what I've learned and what I understand about 'the artist's journey' if you are interested. (Instagram; mrfrog374) Blessings, Belinda. - 'WART'
